Modifier Groups and Options
Add extra options to your products and manage customer preferences.
Overview
Modifier groups allow you to add extra options to products:
- Examples: Sauces, Extras, Sizes, Drink Options
- Each modifier group can contain multiple modifiers
- Modifiers can be free or have an extra charge
- You can define required or optional modifier groups
Creating Modifier Groups
Create a new modifier group:
- Go to Products > Modifier Groups tab
- Click 'Create New Group' button
- Enter group name, set minimum/maximum selection count
- Choose whether it's required or optional
Adding Modifiers
Add modifiers to the group:
- Click '+' button next to the group you created
- Enter modifier name and price impact
- If price impact is 0, it's free; if positive, it has an extra charge
- You can reorder modifiers by drag and drop
Attaching Modifier Groups to Products
Add modifier groups to products:
- When creating or editing products, go to 'Modifier Groups' section
- Select modifier groups you want to add
- You can add multiple modifier groups to one product
- Customers will see and be able to select these options when ordering
Ingredients and Tags
Manage global ingredients and tags:
- On Modifier Groups page, there are 'Ingredients' and 'Tags' sections
- Ingredients: List materials used in products
- Tags: Categorize products (New, Popular, Vegan, etc.)
- These lists can be used across all products and support multiple languages
